About
Who we are.
- We work full time jobs, raise children in the public school system, and find the time to work on this site when we can because it is important. If we want this country to do better, we have to acknowledge the realities of our past, acknowledge the people of our present, and inform the children of our future.
- Yeah, I saw that eye roll. Yes, I can hear myself, but sometimes big ideas have to be addressed as big ideas. It is important to let yourself do that about the things you care about.
Why we do what we do.
- There are subjects your political representatives are censoring in the classrooms. Teachers are fired and schools can be sued by a parent that wants to limit what all children are taught.
- The school cannot bring up these subjects, but if the teacher's project is open-ended enough, they can leave the window open for you to read aloud to the class what they cannot. At least for now.
- Student activism enables you to keep representation and truth in education. Frankly, this is important. And if you found this site, hopefully you find it important too.
What we are not.
- We are not monitizing this in any way. This is here because we see a need we are passionate about.
- We are not pushing conspiracy theories. If you suggest topics that have been empirically disproven, you will sooner find a topic that breaks down your conspiracy if it is acknowledged at all. Birds are real (enjoy your chicken), the world is an oblate sphere (Photoshop has some neat mapping tools doesn’t it?), and vaccines protect against diseases (no matter what your chiropractor’s opinion on the matter is).
- Additionally, we are focused on historical information so topics of scientific, religious, or mathematics are unlikely to come up outside of the context of how they have changed another historic event. For example, the concept of “manifest destiny” is a self-serving way mass murders have been justified on a large scale.
- We are not going to provide templates for reports, but we will direct you to videos, articles, and books that can begin your research.
- Finally, we are not going to provide links to things that are physically dangerous like 3d printed weapons or how to make bombs. Our goal is doing intellectual harm to the lies we are told. We do not support or condone physical harm of any sort.
